Si Young Yang captures the delicate emotions that are difficult to express in words on canvas and depicts life and nature through his own eyes in a unique way. Like writing a travel journal, he has an excellent ability to interpret subjects such as objects and people, reinterpreting them from a unique perspective that only he can see.

Although he has a firm sense of his own world, he is experimental and constantly challenges himself with materials, which is the core of the driving force behind his diverse style of work. Beginning with Korean paper and oriental painting materials, Yang has developed a three-dimensional sense of texture through his experiments with acrylic and shows fascinating abstract images with pure colors and lines.

Yang, who divides his time between Korea and New York, has exhibited internationally in France, the United States, Turkey, etc. He has participated in group exhibitions at the Buk Seoul Museum of Art in Seoul, a residency program at The Arts Students League of New York, and the Busan International Art Fair (BIAF), where he represented Korea, establishing himself as a young artist.
