Two Paths that Fascinated the Artist in Childhood

Art and Psychology.

Having devoted a long time to art, but desiring to study the human mind, the artist majored in Human Science at Waseda University in Japan and built a career in counseling and education for decades. Through research on self-awareness and perception of others, the artist began expressing the surrounding human relationships on canvas with acrylic. The focus is on observing, documenting, sharing, and healing the minds of people throughout the counseling process, represented through color and form. “Cubies” are characters living within cubes that express and convey various psychological aspects of human relationships. The colors and forms of “Cubies” represent human emotions and mindsets, while their direction, dynamism, and position depict movement for healing and freedom.
