AR.C-profile

I frequently pose the profound and intricate question to myself and others, “What defines an artist and what constitutes art?” While I haven’t arrived at a definitive answer, I’ve formulated some personal responses. A writer’s duty involves conveying expressions, and I perceive art as a form of exclamation. When we savor delectable cuisine, witness breathtaking landscapes, or experience profound love, we exclaim, “Wow, this is art!” My perspectives on art, as an artist, are straightforward yet weighty, devoid of convoluted thoughts and ideologies. Primarily, I illustrate my current emotions and thoughts.

I believe in the concept of ‘nothing new.’ We’re too fatigued to merely mimic the world around us. Each individual’s viewpoint is unique, so even when replicating the same world, disparate outcomes emerge. We perceive it and deem it novel. Ultimately, we lack the ability to generate something entirely novel. It’s essentially about emulating what’s already present and making slight alterations.

Hence, I engage in a form of ‘homage’ work that imitates and articulates elements—such as works, locales, and objects—that are deemed historically, culturally, artistically, or aesthetically valuable, as seen through my eyes. I aspire for my creations to be seen as industrial products rather than artworks. My objective is to make art as readily purchasable as necessities, ensuring greater accessibility. Consequently, all recent pieces bear the umbrella title ‘For sale: This artwork, Never hyped #no.’ instead of individualized titles.
